Ok...was doing searches for info/experience on calcium reactors and did not see anything recent, so I thought it would be a good idea to post and get feedback. Seems like many people use 2 part (i used to), but switched to a reactor this past week, and so far, I am very happy. I have a dual chamber reactor made by MTC (they come highly recommended).
I am not monitoring the PH level in the reactor and trying very hard to just set it and forget it as this is supposed by the main appeal.
With two part, I was running my DKH at about 8.5 and Calcium at 420, but having to add buffer about every 10 days or so.
So far, my DKH with the reactor is at 9.9 and calcium at 430. Bubble count is about 8-9 bubbles per 10 seconds, and effluent rate is steady drip before a stream...
