Can you guys more or less confirm that the vermetid is causing that bleaching on the acro?
Or do you think its shading causing bleaching

Can I just put superglue or putty over it?

^ This! You could also throw a handful of bumblebee snails in to get the ones you can’t see. They cleared my tank of vermatids rather quickly.

I forgot to ask about predators. Thanks!

Just keep in mind that Bumble Bee snails will eat other snails too, so if you have any desirable snails like Astrea, Nerite, etc., they may be on the menu too 😱

I did not know that either. What about Conches or hermits?

I'm not sure about Conches, they may be too big. I don't think they'd go after hermits, but again I don't know. I do know that many report that they don't touch their desirable snails if kept well fed, but it's possible for the Bumble Bees to go after your other snails. I've also heard people say they don't touch their vermitid snails either, so who knows lol!

Well I bought 3 Bumble bee snails for the Mixed reef. I can see at least 3 or 4 mostly in rocks the acros are on so im going to place them near it so they will attack them first hopefully and hopefully with only 3 it will limit snail and other predation.

I do hope they dont eat my Sea slugs (Elysia Sp) I started with three now im up to about a dozen at least They are cool lol
