Acclimating and dipping this new torch coral. Can anyone help me ID what and the gunk and stuff is on the base? The pink red and white stuff..? The pink and white clumps are hard and brittle. The red is firm but almost mushy.

Just guessing.

We have a small red sponge that I find on the underside of the rocks on and off.

Guessing that the pink is coralline?

Both are and the hard skeleton correct?
