Trying to find out if this is a pest or what the heck it is. Just got the coral.

I see the acro crab but what are these feather things? Almost polpy like. Don't look like feather dusters.

Thanks!!! Good to know. I thought they looked bad lol.

I ended up removing the coral from the little rock it was on. I tossed the rock. I didn't want to take any chances of introducing that into my tank.
 
If you ever come across more of these a small ball of epoxy can be used to smother them. It's basically like putting a piece of chewed up bubble gum over them. This will harden up and eventually become covered in coralline algae. You'll never even know the Hydroids were there. GL.
