Trying to find out if this is a pest or what the heck it is. Just got the coral.

I see the acro crab but what are these feather things? Almost polpy like. Don't look like feather dusters.

When I touch them or rub on them. They close up but the whole polpy looking thing is completely out. They close up like when you touch zoas or polpys.

Yup that's it. Hydroids - Colonial.

Looks like I need to remove them.

Thanks!!! Good to know. I thought they looked bad lol.

I ended up removing the coral from the little rock it was on. I tossed the rock. I didn't want to take any chances of introducing that into my tank.

If you ever come across more of these a small ball of epoxy can be used to smother them. It's basically like putting a piece of chewed up bubble gum over them. This will harden up and eventually become covered in coralline algae. You'll never even know the Hydroids were there. GL.
