Setting up a new tank, I am a complete newbie and have been working with my LSF. Is this organism a Aiptasia? If not can someone identify and tell me if it is good to keep?

It's definitely some kind of anemone, but it does not look like Aiptasia to me. My vote is for some kind of BTA (Bubble-Tip Anemone).

My vote goes for a Bubble Tip Anenome. Sadly it may not do well in a brand new tank, though. They typically need a tank to be well settled in order to thrive. Most don't jump to anenomes until the tank is about a year old. But who knows, it may beat the odds and live through those ugly stages that are about to come on.
