The title says it all. Can I hydrogen peroxide dip toadstools and discosoma?

I have had bad luck using it on anything other then zoas personally. However if you are trying to remove algea off a plug cherry Corals taught me a good trick. Just use a toothbrush dipped in hydrogen peroxide to scrub around the coral.

I have dipped my toad stool in it but not sure he liked it very much …he pouted for a few weeks. Which can be normal too. So who knows.
I’d just use a little more heavy blowing off in CoralRx if were me.
why do you want to use H2O2?

I have never used on any shrooms, sorry.

I am about to sell a rock with a toadstool and some small discosoma on it. I have had bits of bryopsis here and there for a long time and I would hate for any to sneak into someone's tank. Maybe a makeup brush on the rock with h202. Thanks again for the $1 makeup brush idea again Kristopher!

I have used a 10% solution of 3% peroxide for 10 minutes as a dip. It kills most everything and only the slime coat of coral protects it.

Yeah, but my ricordea started to look really sick, so I quit early. They are in terrible shape right now. My salifert phosphate test went bad somehow and only ready from 0.01 to 0.02. I got dinos (I guess it was at zero?) and I dosed to increased it. By the time I realized something was up with the test it had gone up to about 0.40. Stuff started dying, I lost my best zoas within a couple of days and my ricordea started losing all their color. Ugh. On the road to recovery now, but I'm not sure how long it will take them to get their color back.

Remember that mushrooms are anemones. If you wouldn't use a product on a BTA, probably not a good idea to use it on shrooms.
