Can I keep a Pink Streak Wrasse and a Melanurus Wrasse together in a 50gal?

I got a pink streak wrasse because I love the way they look but found out that they dont really eat pests like the melanurus will. Can I keep them together in the same tank?

Or a possum wrasse instead of the Melanurus?

You should be able to mix the two as long as there's enough places to hide.
