I'm refining my doser tubing path/plumbing to neaten up the sump a bit...

I'd like to continue to use the "regular" more rigid refrigerator type waterline tubing between the reservoir and the doser. Then I would like to use the more flexible 1/8" ID silicone tubing between the doser and the tank. (Different ID between the two, obviously.)

Is there any reason not to mix the two? Or has anyone had any issues with this? Wasn't sure if it would affect the performance of the doser pump - I don't think it would, but wanted to get some input.

Thanks!

I can't think of an issue, but make sure you recalibrate with the new tubing as it may affect outflow rate.

I don’t think this would cause any problems as long as you have the correct barbs to get a good connection and with no leaks and like mtfish stated I would check calibration.

Yes. The GHL doser comes with adapters that accept both sizes.
