I have a 6 foot tank, and i have currently 2 xr30 g6 radions, and i want to add a third one for more coverage i have the g6 xr30 blue. Do i need to upgrade that to g6 pro to match the other ones or not

Why would you not be able to?

Are they reef lights with the same/similar light distribution, pattern, and hue? If so why not?

If they are different then maybe. Also is the functionality the same, can it hook up to the same app/controller for use of ease?

Lastly, if you got the money to burn. Do it!!!!

The main difference between the XR30 G6 Blue and XR30 G6 Pro is the spectrum. If your goal is simply to increase coverage and you’re happy with the current performance of the Blue model, adding another Blue light should work just fine and will maintain consistency in coverage.

The Blue and Pro have different looks to them. You might be able to get a Pro close to a Blue but the Blue will never match the white from a Pro

So if you have a combo of Blue and Pro, test it out and see if you like the look. If not, you can swap the LED boards if you really want
