Was making water for my awc and ran out of tropic marin pro, can i mix redsea blue bucket and tropic marin for automatic water changes! Or it has to be tropic marin?

Mix it!!

Make sure you check the ALK to be where you want it to be so no surprises..

Are you planning to switch to Red Sea permanently? Or you switched to TM from RS and it was old leftovers ?

Left over and ran out of tm

I mixed TM with IO and it didn’t tick anything off too bad.

There should be no salt mix that is incompatible with any other mix for combining them.

I never understood why it would matter to mix salts, or just switch totally. Done it countless times. I’m always after the best value that works for me.

Maybe if you’re going from tropic marin ( low alk) to black bucket or fritz red (high alk) and doing a huge water change?
