I just set up my refugium and did not realize the amount of substrate i would need to get 2" so im short, the question is can i use seachem onyx sand in it with my bio sediment and mud???

Thank you for you quick responses i am sitting here kicking myself cause the tanks off waiting for the little bit of substrait i did have :(... if not i guess lesson learned its off to the lfs in the moring

T if it was me I would not take that chance. Its alot to risk. The copper in it is what worries me.

I agree with Joey, it is possible it could work but I wouldnt risk it and get your tank started on the wrong foot.
