Just got a Hanna HR Copper Checker for my QT and tested it on my DT for fun.

Followed directions to a T and to my surprise It read .13!

I have a baby Maxima clam, Starfish, fire/cleaner shrimp, hermits, snails, etc.. that are doing just swimmingly-

Is it more likely the reading is false or have these poor guys been braving mysterious copper!?

That’s likely a false reading. I’ve had hermits handle very minor amounts of copper power but never snails, shrimp, urchins, etc.

I throw live amphipods in my QT tank now and then to feed fish during copper treatment. I was cleaning the filters the other day and there was a couple live ones in it. This is after being in there at least a month at therapeutic levels... maybe an anomaly.
