Get it out. Qt. Fallow for 70ish days. Do it or you'll be losing fish forever. Just bite the bullet if it is ich.

I will if I know for sure it is. Might just be sand. My other fish is fine.

Very hard to see. But it's very fine white specks only on her tail and pec fins.

How long has it been there again? Any heavy breathing or excessive hiding? Swimming into the flow of a powerhead or return?

She was just added four days ago so she has been hiding. Out a little more today. Breathing is normal and I don't have a powerhead but that's another problem. She's not swimming towards the overflow or return.

Very hard to tell if that's ich or velvet, based on the photos.

Ich does not go away, as mentioned previously. Some fish can build a limited resistance but it will return eventually and be deadly. Whether that's days or years depends on your husbandry and luck.

I guess time will tell. I'll just have to wait and see. No way can I catch her and I only have one other fish in there.

You can use a Sabiki rig http://www.basspro.com/Offshore-Angler-Green-Ultraskin-Sabiki-Rig/product/89605/ to catch your fish out of your DT. Buy the smallest hook you can find. Cut off one of the lures from the rig, pinch the barb down with some needle nose pliers, put a small piece of mysis on the hook, tie on a pole, get a beer and go fishing. This was the only way I could get all of my fish out of my DT for a fallow period. If fish catch on to what your doing (pun not intended) you will need to skip feeding for a few days and try again. Your more aggressive feeders are the easiest to catch.
