This was a free frag test SPS coral for my tank around the 8 month mark. I think some phosphate swings messes it up as it was doing well the first month. It's about 2.5 months old now and basically skinless in front but the back is still OK with PE.

Is there anyway it can come back to full life appearance?

Short answer is that if you have solved the stability issue (alk, etc) then yes frag and the healthy polyps that survived will grow out. It’s pretty resilient if given a chance.

Here is a pic from my main tank grown from a tiny frag…

I have a little green stylo that the same thing happened to.
However, I am 99% sure it was a lighting issue. Once I changed out lights and took my time learning more, it completely came back.

to much or to little light? I have tried turning my down about 15% now.
