Good day to all my fellow reefers, I’m having a little issue with my BTA. Ever since I got him he has stayed closed up he sits in one place and just stretches back and forth but doesn’t open, my tank parameters are listed below

tank Red Sea 170
PO4 0.1
NO3 .2
ALK 9.6
CA 440
MG 1350
PH 8.15
Ammonia 0
Salinity 1.023

All test are with the Salifert test kits I have added a pic any help would be great, I have SPS and LPS and they’re all doing fine. Also I have added another pic of a SPS that I have no idea what it is, it was given to me on the brink of death it has grown but hasn’t colored up so I can’t figure out what it is ‍♂️ The second one is the SPS I can’t identify

Hard to see with pics very dark blue
Salinity is low and should come up to 1.025 at 78 degrees under moderate light and water flow
What test kits are you using?

Age of the tank and lighting used? Also nitrate is a little low. I try and keep mine between 10 and 20 for my nems

Sounds like a combination of flow being too high or too low, low phos and nitrate (nitrate about 10 and phos up to .06) and salinity 1.025 and temp 78
Lighting moderate to medium
While they need light too much can have impact

I can understand about the nitrates and the po4 but as for flow that's the spot he picked he was moving sound the tank for about two weeks and then he settled in there and nothing has changed since I put him in

Age of tank? Feeding more or exporting less.
