I cought this crab in West Palm beach today and would like to put him in my tank but am not sure what kind of crab it is. I also have a feather duster so want to be careful about that too. Also any help to into him to the tank would help to :)

Don’t know the exact species but it looks like a carnivorous crab. Would 100 percent eat your feather duster

Is there a way I could test it without harming him or the feather duster?

And observe how he eats it?
If he eats it. Then he will go after your feather duster, snails, and maybe even fish. If he doesn’t. There is a small chance he would be safe. But honestly I wold be very suprised if he didn’t eat it
