He was bright neon green when I bought him and now has turned reddish pink

Just looks black. Take a picture under white lights please. Its common for coral to change colors aswell.
Agreed. Blue lights great for viewing with out eyes but not so for cameras. Unless, you have one of those coral lens/filters. We won’t be able to identify unless you get some whites on.
