I have 4 pumps set up as 2 stream groups. They ramp up an down between 2% and 60%. That's working perfectly.

Is there a way for the Profilux to turn them all on at 100% at random times? The Tunze controller called it "Storm mode"

Thanks

Yes, it's very much possible.

If you go to each stream group, select each pump and specify at what percentage you want to run it during a "Thunderstorm". In this case it would be 100%.

Go to the Thunderstorm settings page (under Illumination) and setup the Random thunderstorm settings. In this same page, you will also be able to choose the days of the week to run the random effect.

Thanks @Vinny@GHLUSA I'll check it out tonight.

@Vinny@GHLUSA I managed to confirm the pumps work at 100% during a "Thunderstorm" - thanks for the tip.

However I also run 3 x 6100's and they also flash during the storm. How do I stop the lights flashing but still have the pumps run? (ie. I want to run random thunderstorms but don't want it to impact the lights.

My current setting for the white channel is as below (ticked to not react to thunderstorms) however they still flash

I connected to the light directly but couldn't find any option there either.

Thanks in advance.

I did. The post above is the white channel (which seems to be the one flashing) however I did confirm for all channels.

@Vinny@GHLUSA - digging up an old thread you helped me on. I notice that my stream pumps are no longer running at 100% during a thunderstorm event (not sure when/why this stopped). My current settings are
(I have 4 Tunze Stream pumps - 1 per stream group with each stream group having slightly different settings for the waves to make it as random as possible. All pumps have "at thunderstorm" set to 100%)

When I click "start" button on Thunderstorm settings I can see my lights flash, but the pumps (watching the voltages) don't seem to go to 100% (8v)

Any thoughts or a setting I have missed? I am on Firmware 6.43 (Haven't updated as I don't have a KH Director or ION Director)

Im not sure. this might be a waste of a response. but The Way I understood it. wild guess. It goesnt mean it will be automatically 100% entire storm. I thought it mean it allowed the pumped to Jump up to 100% during the storm... if that makes any sense at all.....

you already have it set to max.. so the way i think it works.. nothing will change.... Say you had one at min 30 and max 50...during the thunderstorm. it will allow that pump to hit 100% random.

I do not use storms but I did a simulation test. The only thing that the storm 100 % override is max intensity (red marking) - everything else is working the way you configure it. Waves goes on after schedule but the top is 100 % instead of 70 %

The only way I can see that you will have it work as you want - a steady stream at 100 % is to use a ADIN card and let it manage a maintenance program
