Can this be a Tunicate?

No idea what I am looking at here, but I see two things that have taken up residence next to the base of my Hammer.

I can only see them after lights-out, when the Hammer retracts for the night. One looks like a tube worm of some kind and the other? Tunicate? Sponge?

I'll buy that for the tube. I have them throughout the tank. I just have never seen one beneath the substrate before. What about the other thing behind it with the hole in it?

No, they are just filter feeders and are pretty common hitchhikers.
