Not causing any issues in regards to holding water or anything.. can’t feel it when you run your fingers along it but was wondering what this Is from and if there’s a way to fix it.

the superficial scratch came that way from bulk reef supply. It has never been a problem since I’ve owned it. I just wanna understand why the glass is having these “superficial like” scratches and was wondering if anything can be done.

It’s a triton 44 sump. The superficial crack came delivered from bulkreef supply. I tested it for 5 days and it never leaked (water doesn’t sit that high anyways) so they gave me a discount and I kept it. I’ve had it running for over a year with no issues. I’m going to sell it and someone is purchasing it- but I just wanna make sure that it’s going to crap out on them. If there’s something I can do to fix it then I’d like to do so.

Probably a stupid question, but are you sure you removed the plastic coating (thinner than saran wrap) that usually is on big acrylic pieces? Sometimes it can be hard to tell that it's on there if it's colorless and none of the edges have peeled a bit.

Yes i believe so. But I’ll double check as it never hurts. I believe the inside “crazing” is due to the protein skimmer and return pump as they were sitting near where those two locations are. The front one is likely from the blemish it has when it was delivered. I’ve never had any issues I just don’t wanna sell someone something that’s going to fail on them.

If it turns out to be coating, you HAVE to post about it in the thread below! ;) :p
