My tank is 260 gallons.

I currently have 10 maxima clams (most are small).

Is there a way that 10 clams can have a sperm event that can nuke my tank? Maybe 1 offsetting the rest into a chain reaction?

For my filtration I have 100 micron filter socks changed 2x a week, skimmer, and ozone. Water changes once a week. Besides for clams I have LPS and SPS corals.

I do have an apex which will notify me of any weird ORP changes, but not sure if I can do anything once a chain reaction event were to happen.

I'm sure it could cause some excess nutrients, but I don't think i'd be too concerned. I've seen massive squammys spawn in a marineland 300g DD (water literally sprayed out of the tank like a geyser!) and everything ended up being ok.

I don't see this being a thing. A mass spawning event will most likely be skimmed out quickly. I would be happy if I had this problem.
