I have a IM Nuvo 20 gallon mixed reef lighted with a hydra 26 running brs ab+ program but without any cool whites. I’m running the system as 12 hour cycle, with hour ramp period peaking for 6 hours.
my question is if I’m able to grow sps frags only using the blue setting no cool whites??
i want to attach my lighting schedule file, but am not sure how to do it. If any one can help me with that, it would be great help.
My lps and softies are thriving in this tank, but my sps sticks seem to die of slowly.

i have a total of 8 fish.

Also my levels are as follow:
Nitrate- 20-40ppm
Phosphate- .5
Cal - 420
Mag - 1320
Alk 8.3-8.5

Im also running ice cap k1 nano skimmer with carbon fx.

By the way, I'm sorry I can't help you with your question, you're ahead of where I am with your tank! If you don't get an answer this weekend, you might add the hashtag "reefsquad" to call in the experts (sorry, Bryn, I meant MORE experts)!

Welcome to R2R! Beautiful corals! If you’re planning on growing SPS I would recommend a little more rock structure for your tank closer to the light.

Here is how to upload your custom schedule to your AI:

These are the settings I use, other than I go blue in the evenings, and I have 4 hydra 26’s and yes SPS that grow.

But it’s not just about the lighting, it’s about maintaining stable and correct water parameters

Welcome to R2R as well!

I’m new to reefing so please keep that in mind, but have you considered your nitrate and phosphate levels as a possible issue? There are very successful people with high levels but the broader advice is nitrate 5-10 and phosphate around 0.03. Your phosphates are much higher than that. Nitrate is probably less likely to be an issue.
