Can you put .9999 pure gold into a reef tank?

Pure gold would be fine, it won't dissolve, gold coins in shipwrecks 100s of years old are fine.

Sure, gold is non reactive. Fun fact: metal detecting is on of my hobbies and gold jewelery comes out of the ground looking as bright and shiny as the day it was made.
