It's nice to see a few of you guys are from outwest. I'm moving back to Calgary at the end of the year. Then I'm finally allowed to buy myself a large tank and set up a fish/frag room.
I pass quite a few other reef special stores on my way to fragbox but I've had good luck with them for dry products. They always have lots in stock. Plus it's nice they've started a YouTube channel so people getting into the hobby during these times can learn without even having to go into the store.

Tight parameters and lots of flow, proper placement..Same as a big tank! I wasn’t sure how’d they do they were kind of testers, but so far so good. Not sure what the acan is but it’s starting to get some nice bluey green colour to it.

Super quality packaging and animals from new dawn, I wouldn’t hesitate to order something you find on there if it sparks an interest.I remember looking at New Dawn aquaculture when I wanted a captive bred mando, never ended up ordering. But fragbox is great, only problem i had was when I was trying to send back some pods and didnt open the box for a few days and they were all dead, but that was my fault.
Plus i got a 50% off my order coupon on my last order so
cant beat half off though!

Lol thats true! Im just worried about ordering from them because I live in Ontario, so I'd feel bad for the fish that it has be be shipped all the way from Alberta

Lots of other places to order from in ontario. Exotic aquarium world has a large amount of fish and has very good sales quite often. Candy coral also gets a lot of good fish in also. Not sure where youre located but they are both in mississuaga.

Probably would take the same amount of time regardless where you order from, most places ship overnight.
There’s really no options for me around here, I have to order online or drive 4+ hours one way lol

IM located about an hour from Mississauga, more northern, I've looked at candy corals, I'd like to go check them out when we get out of lockdown, I've never heard of exotic aquarium world I'll check those out right now

There’s a bunch of different types, if it’s the same as this one they don’t get much bigger from what I’ve seen..pretty cool, extra all natural filtration!

Hey Chris here’s the pics of the basket, pretty ghetto but it works and took me 5 mins to make, I’d use smaller zip ties if I were to make another.. it’s a tight fit.
I shove a little piece of floss between the back and the basket to keep my baffle wedged against the grates and if the water level coming in ends up above the main piece of floss it’ll syphon where there isn’t any..(path of least resistance obviously)

Yeah mate thanks for taking the time i have made one myself but for chamber one instead i have my powerhead magnet in chamber one so would not have worked. I glued mine in the end as i didnt have any zip ties in the house when i came to make it lol bit worked out sweet i think ill post a few pics of mine. Again thanks for taking the time to get back to me
