Here's a frag I cut off my colony cause it was getting too big growing into the rock and the little guy is the one that was actually smushed against the live rock I almost lost that one but it came back. Ever since then it seems to inflate sometimes but then deflate , I was thinking maybe I should trim the old skeleton from when it almost dies because maybe the sharp points stab it when inflated? I thought it would grow back over it but clearly it has a new skeleton by the looks of the pic. Let me know your thoughts on this one . My water parameters are spot on too lol .

See the spike from the old skeleton, is that enough to stress out the coral?
