I've had this candy cane for about a month but she doesn't seem to open? Can someone help?

Mine open and feed at low light / night.

Check it after the lights go out with a flashlight with a red filter.
I use a small LED light that came with clear, blue and red interchangeable filters.

What kind of light and flow is on it? I have been through a few things. Even dropped it on the floor when it came unglued from a piece of live rock. Looked like ground hamburger. Now it looks like this.

Do the tentacles come out when you feed your fish in the day and also at night? Maybe give it some food when they do and see if it changes.

I have this coral as well. Luckily mine is always wide open with the lights on. They close a bit with the lights off. I bought one with 2 heads months ago and it still has 2 heads. Does anyone know how long they take to expand into more heads?
