My Camdy Cane looks a bit muted. Any thoughts on what may be causing this?

I had my little guy on a plug in the sand toward the darker side of my tank for a while. It was doing great. I got it in my head to mount it on the rock. Well it didn't like that. Started receding on one side to show skeleton. Moved it back to its original spot and it bounced right back.

From your pic I would say try less light. Looks a bit bright in its spot now imo

ALso I've found they need trace elements (not sure which exactly). If I go too long between water changes it will recede. Do a water change and it comes plump within hours. I just picked up some trace to dose between wc's...

JJust my 2 cents from my limited exp and may or may not be helpful...
