Thanks, I had a reactor with gfo running and I added a media bag with gfo in my filter but I removed reactor and phosphates are staying stable at .06

I know they need to be at .03 but FYI I got this tank from a friend and phosphates were 1.3 and i have had it about 40 days...

how old is the tank? how much water vol too.
looks like several heads have expelled the zoox. GFO is POWERFUL stuff.

yea probably got stirred up and needs to settle.. the candy's will open up usually at night in lower flow.
the Po builds up over time and binds to the rock. you have to pull it out pretty slowly. so use as little as possible and go up in small increments..
My 30g I put one teaspoon in and my candys shrivel in minutes. do you have a refugium? it a very good investment.

and don't chase numbers. Zero is not true. and speed kills. go slow.
