Dear R2R

I have tried 2-3 times with a fungia or plate coral and it never lasts more than a month.. Does anybody have this issue about not being able to keep a particular coral?

My tank is 300L and parameters are: Nitrates: 10ppm, Phos: 0.24, calcium 440, mag:1380, Alk: 8-9

Salinity is 1.025

I can't keep leather corals or zoas. I think it is because my nutrients are too low. The torch I tried died pretty quick. But I have a hammer and montis that are getting out of control. Go figure.

You have a sand bed? Too much flow? Can you describe how the coral dies or how long maybe it lives... ? I didnt find them hard to keep. The basic green ones actually grew in a tank and i had multiples.

It doesnt live for more than a month, I am unsure why, Flow seems ok and I usually put it on my sandbed I find that the sand sometimes disturbs it but I blow it off, There must be another reason it doesnt like my tank :(
