Nikon. They have better optics. Over the years I've had both and found that small details were always sharper with my Nikon.

Jk. I believe rev had started a thread in the photography Forum, Nikon versus Canon. You should check it out. Seems like both are pretty close. I've always been under the believe it's whichever one you are used to is where you're going to get the better pics.
Thanks for the tag.I've got a canon rebel t6i which I'm pretty happy with. More important than brand is high quality glass to go on it moand a good set of filters. Also really knowing how to mage your settings to make the photo what you want.

Sony burned me once with the Alpha and changing mounts. Never again. With Nikon and Canon you can still use lenses from decades ago. Sony hasn't proven they have that kind of commitment.Go with a Sony a6000. It’s amazing
