How tall should the canopy be and at what height should I mount my lights?
I will have 6 - 60” 80 watt T5’s, and a 60” Current USA Marine Pro LED in the canopy. The Led will be used for sunrise and sunset as well as moon lights.
Tank is 72x30x24

We just did a poll on light height, found here. Realizing this is just a poll and your particular circumstances can and will vary, I would recommend the canopy being at least 12" to 14". It will allow options now and down the road.

Plus with it being a little taller, you'll have more room in the access panels (based on design) to get in the tank.

Must have missed that one thank you!
