If you were close to Missouri I'd tell you to nab it and send it to me, lol. But yeah if you want it gone you'll probably have to let it grow a bit so you can scoop it up. They are very easy to spook.

Definitely Edwardsianthus sp. I've kept these before and they are benign filter feeders. Definitely worth keeping.

Not in my experience. And they propagated in the sand bed. I remember showing one to Ron Shimek 20 years ago and he was like “I knew this day would come!” Mine came from the Gulf of Mexico but that was ages ago.
