Can't get Alk dosing correct - what am I missing?

Sounds like the general consensus here is that i should just keep raising it over time until it stabilizes at a number i want. Fore some reason I was thinking its more valuable to calculate the number and set it there but I'll take this path and see how it works

I calibrate these pumps by running it for 30 mins into a cup and dividing the output by 30 to get the rate.

Always test at the same time, yes
So for clarification, I don't think it is "calibrating" unless you are able to change the speed setting alter how much is being dosed in a certain amount of time or adjusting how many rotations it takes to put out a certain quantity of liquid.

We could help you with the dosing calculations if you would tell us what product you are using or what the dosing amount is (ex: 5ml in 25L will raise Alk by 1.4 dKH).
