I got a captive bred royal gramma (around 1") and it's showing some strange behavior (see attached video). It's in my QT right now and it's day 2. It's eating a bit which is a good sign but sits at the bottom and tilts to a side often and then goes upright again. I called the fish store that shipped it and they say all their captive bred royal grammas are like this and it's normal. Anyone here with captive bred ones that can help?

I know nothing about captive bred ones.
They do swim on their backs and sides as they cruise rocks for food. They make there homes in holes in rocks or worse your power head if it is off for any length of time.

What I've been told is the behavior is different with the captive bred ones.

I'm able to see the video, maybe it took a bit of time to process.
People who use a computer to play it will work, but others devices not.

If you post with YouTube, you get more eyes on the issue.

Is very possible that captive fish may act differently as they have been raised in unnatural and confined settings.

The can react to seeing themselves in the glass both sides and bottom.
