Obligatory sandstorm pic! Don’t mind the mess, will all be sorted out soon enough. No plumbing leaks that I have found yet!!

Most definitely following along on this excellent build. I can't even imagine trying to put the tank on the stand with such little room on each side. I love the sump and am envious as I have a much smaller sump crammed full of stuff. I love how clean it is and how much space you have.

For your stand, do you simply use a regular set of screws to hold down the plywood, located under the tank, to the stand?

Did you use an 80/20 calculator to determine what size tubing to use? I want to use their stuff for a future tank build, just not sure what size tube to get, fittings, etc. Thanks!

I have countersunk stainless bolts that fit into the t-slots of the top of the stand to secure the board to the aluminum.

This is nearly all 1530 1.5”x3” extrusion. I have a few 1515’s that are 1.5”x1.5”, but the only one supporting weight is the center upright and I didn’t want a wide one there blocking access.

I did use their deflection calculator to ensure that the weight would have no issues. I then went to tnutz.com and had them cut everything and machine in the anchor bolt holes so it was basically just putting it together once it came in.

That is gorgeous!

I'd be outlining a basketball court but I guess a pool is nice too! [emoji16]

I don't blame you for the view! Sure beats some of the flatter areas of Austin! Where did you get the 80/20? Locally or online?
