I have the deluxe reactor one from brs. And i use it for carbon, lets just say i hate using it so much… since fhe reactor sits in my sump since no space for it, i have to disconnect those push fittings and lets just say they are hell to disconnect.

Plus the canister leaking, being using it for roughly 2 years. Any other canisters u guys recommend that sits in the sump, easy to change in the media like something with really simple quick disconnect pop it out refill carbon, and run it back on.

I use the same thing except I put one together with Amazon parts. I hate to say it but I've got more into mine than it would have cost just to spend the $40 to buy the kit from BRS, it even includes the pump, lol.

Mine doesn't use push loc connectors, I have a union for the pump hose that's easy to unscrew, and the outlet is just a hose on a 90 that stays attached to the lid when I remove it. I'm glad I don't change the carbon any more often than every 30 days because otherwise I wouldn't do it haha.

When I refill it, I use bulk Polyfil from a craft store on both sides of the carbon and rinse it before I put it back into service.
