I bought some carbon to clear my water up a little, didn't notice at the time it says freshwater only, can anyone explain to me why that would be? It seems to just be activated carbon. Any help would be great.

Because they would have to charge you 3x more for saltwater only carbon.
I fugured that was the answer, there's no logical reason i can think of why it wouldn't be the same, but I'm new to the reef game and wanted to make sure :)

It makes me think, could copper have been used in the processing? Perhaps there could be trace amounts of copper that would kill invertebrates. I’m not sure so I would be cautious.
