Carpet anemone insides coming out?

my carpet anemone that I just got 3 days ago was doing good the first day, the second day he was smaller than usual and it looked like intestines coming out. He also lost his stickiness. Later that day he started looking normal again. Now today he’s back to the same way he was yesterday. Is he dying? He is also releasing what looks like white smoke. His foot is still attached pretty good. Should I take him out? Is he going to poison my whole tank?

Since you just got it I wouldn’t worry about too much. Just keep an eye on it. Don’t mess with it or feed it.
