I need to quarantine my fishes and I was thinking about rebuilding the tank (instead of running fallow). However, I have a carpet anemone that needst to be removed also if I rebuild. Is it OK for the carpet anemone to be in a bare bottom tank for about 3 months?

Any suggestions on how to handle? Thanks

My suggestion would be to purchase or make your own type of acrylic dish that holds sand. I've seen a buddy use something similar and the nem was perfect. It's easy to use and move too. I'm sure there's a specific name for this item ... I just can't think of it right now lol
