Carpet big bubble mouth

I’m concerned about my carpet. The last 2 weeks is mouth is doing this. This morning it is twice as big. I’m setting up a hospital tank right now just in case. Everything in the tank is doing great.
My perms have floated around here for 6 months or more.

Has it eaten anything recently? Including possible tank inhabitants?

Nope still have all the fish. Only things it would eat is shrimp. It would reject everything else it was given. I tired to feed it a week ago but spit it out.

I usually see this when I neglect to change my water, and it get a bit Dirty. Perhaps changing water may help
