3 years with no cover on the tank. I come home to find my sixline wrasse on the carpet. Had been in the tank for 2 years. He must of gotten the idea after watching finding Nemo a few days ago.

Sorry for your loss. Can you get the tank covered? Even fish that are not as known to jump can from time to time (Clowns, Grammas, even Dwarf Angels).

I have had this tank for three years. Never had a fish jump. In my mind their was never a need for it. Until today. Will have to fabricate a some sort of cover.

Aside from buying covers I've heard cicada netting is a good alternative to regular screen coverings

I use the clear 1/4" mesh netting on a aluminum window frame method. Works perfect, doesnt block light and fits right into my aquarium trim.

Thats a good idea. My tank is a 92 gallon corner bowfront. Hard to find anyrhing thats premade.
