Hey guys Im new to the forum. I just joined because I’m hoping to get some insight from experienced reefers on my plumbing issue. Chat gpt can only get me so far in this hobby. I just started 4 months ago, everything’s been going great except for my annoying waterfall sound from my emergency standpipe on my herb overflow. I set this up with no experience and there’s some things I would change if I could go back but now I’m stuck with it. No matter what I do I can’t get my gate valve dialed in. It always seems to creep in one direction or the other leading to splashing when water enters my overflow or splashing when water goes down the emergency pipe. Is there any solutions to quiet down the splashing in the emergency pipe?
