Got 2 reef brite actinic strips for the tank, and WOW I should have done this a long time ago. During the day, they make the spectrum much more “blue” than my 14k MH did, and in the morning/evening hours my looks absolutely incredible.
The hammers looks huge

The other reef brite strip got here today, got it installed on the second attempt. I had to use a smaller one because of the space, but thanks to the dimming options it should be putting out a very similar PAR/PUR to the one in front. Fully hybrid light setup now (150w MH at 14k combined with 2 actinic LEDs).

I love it! Corals grow like crazy and are colored up out the wazoo, this light setup is the best of both worlds in my opinion. I get great growth and color and get to look at them under the blues :)

So I finally bit the bullet, and my 28g Jbj is now a 40g Innovative Marine! I also added a Midas Blenny and a Fairy Wrasse.

Been working hard the past couple of days to get everything transferred and equipment hooked up, but man does this thing look good! Low iron glass, oh myy
