My friend was diving in Catalina and captured this wonderful picture of a fish that is unknown to us.
Can anyone id this cold water fish?

I can’t but what a beautiful little fish. There are many on here that keep cold water tanks, maybe someone can chime in. @Nman ?

I would agree with this. It’s a beautiful fish and the color variation in this photo is striking.
