Cave/Tunnel in rock work

Greetings,
Trying to do the rockscape on the new pony tank. We were setting up a cave/tunnel. Then it dawned on us that they could possibly get stuck in there. Don't want to be tearing down the rock looking fora pony.

Should/can we add the the tunnel caves if so what size?

I think you'll be fine (just don't make the caves super tiny).
