Cbb with red spots

I have an established cbb, nothing new added to the tank in a long time and noticed these spots being more prominent over the past week. He's been in the tank for 6+ months and eats a ton. I read that this could be really bad for a cbb. Without nfg, what do I treat with? (assuming this is a bad infection). Near his tail, you can't see it well in the pics, it's a bit pinkish.

Sorry - I'm not really seeing anything. Can you get a picture (or video) taken under white light? I can see some disruption up on its dorsal spines, at number 2 and 8, is that what you are seeing? I just can't see anything at the caudal fin....

@Jay Hemdal I just caught him, I'll try and get some pics but look here. Those spots are reddish
