I've been running an arid n18 since they first came out years ago and at first it worked flawlessly growing chaeto like crazy. A year ago I moved my tank to a new house which caused a small cycle and since then I haven't been able to keep chaeto growing. It'll grow for a few days and then it inevitably melts into a big ball of mushy slimy algae. My system is as follows....
75G display mixed reef
15G sump
Filter socks
Skimmer
N18 in sump plumbed off return
Weekly 15G water changes tropic Marin pro
Dosing ESV A&B 13ml per day
Alk 9
Ca 460
Mg 1370
No3 between 5 and 10
Po4 between .02 and .05
Moderately stocked tank
fed lrs frozen food daily no flake or pellets
Most recent Triton test is as follows
Reactor lights are on 12 hours opposites display lights.
As you can see in my Triton analysis I'm lacking some Trace elements like manganese but my iron is a tad high.
Any thoughts and comments are much appreciated
