long story short I traded the new RS750 for a 650 peninsula for the new home.

tank dems are: 63"Lx 23.6"H x25.6W total volume is 175 gallons.
for filtration I will have skimmer, UV, ATS, carbon and filter floss + daily AWC

after a lot of thought here is my stocking list:
wrasse domante system and LPS softie for corals

fish I already have:
1x flame angle
1x H. melanurus
1x Kaudern's Cardinalfish- might go in the nano
1x Azure damselfish (model citizen) -might do in the nano

Halichoeres:

H. melanurus “Melanurus Wrasse”

H. iridis “Radiant Wrasse” - not sure on this one.

H. chrysus “yellow wrasse”

H. claudia “Christmas Wrasse”

Macropharyngodon:

M. bipartitus “Blue Star Leopard Wrasse”

M. ornatus “Ornate Leopard Wrasse”

Paracheilinus:

P. mccoskeri “McCosker’s Flasher”

P. cyaneus “Blue Flasher”: colorful male if I can find one
or
Paracheilinus carpenteri) Carpenter wrasse

Cirrhilabrus: each from a different complex:

C. exquisitus “Exquisite Fairy” -male

C. lubbocki “tri colore fairy”- Male

C. rubrimarginatus- red/pink Margin ferry wrasse -male

C. cyanopleura- blue head ferry wrasse

possibly saving room for a M/F pair of rhomboialis pair if I can’t find a reasonable price.

open to other farry wrasses that are easy on the wallet.

tangs:
Yellow Tang (Zebrasoma flavescens)
Kole Yellow Eye Tang (Ctenochaetus strigosus)
show tang: only one:
Powder Blue Tang (Acanthurus leucosternon)
or
Hippo Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus)
Sailfin Tang, Desjardinii (Zebrasoma desjardinii)

other fish:
copperband butterfly -this is a strong maybe as it will be LPS dominate so prob. will not happen. so I will go with the pyramid
pyramid butterfly
flame angle
royal gramma
Midas blennie

open to any suggestions. not 100% sure on my QT process, I do have copper and a hanna checker + meds. but not sure if I want to practave medicate or not. that is another topic.

how about you @evolved any thoughts on the wrasse collection. I used you flow chart for the ferries.
Wrasse mix is okay. Make sure H. claudia is actually claudia - if it's from Hawaii it's ornatissimus and you don't want that one to mix with other Halichoeres.
Skip any pairs (rhomboidalis) - females will eventually turn male regardless.

I can't help you too much with the wrasses. Too complicated for my wrasse expertise.

Tangs: Yellow and kole are fine. I don't personally like any of the other tangs for your setup. The best of the three might be the hippo. The sailfins get huge, and the powders are pretty active.

Pyramid, flame angel, gramma, midas are all fine.

Make sure you have a sand bed for the wrasses. IME they don’t like bare bottom

true but being a peninsula there is alot more swimming room the and standard wall tank IMHO. with the center rock rock fish have more room to swim that is what I am thinking of a oval tang. heck I see plenty in 90 gals.
