starting to get into chalice and am hoping some of you guys can give me some good advice on keeping them happy. lighting, do you feed?, etc... any tips will help. i have a 120gal tank with 6 bulb t5 tek light. sps dominated. i have one chalice now that looking like its receding... looks like its getting like a clear bubbly look to it in some spots if that makes any sense. the 2 others i have look ok so far. thanks for everyone time.

Hi
Just have to state that every chalice is going to react a bit different, but here are some basic guidelines
Over all they prefer low light, with your lighting i would say half way down or lower. Also start out any new chalices on the bottom of the tank under a ledge for about a week and slowly move them out and up.
They are active feeders, mostly the tentacles come out at night. I have found they eat brineshrimp, mysis, copepods, and some pellet foods
Flow should be random with enough current to keep debris from settling on the colony. They dont need the heavy flow like SPS corals
Keep up good water quality the same as you would with a Reef system
Hope that helps some
