So I am really liking this coral but have never kept one. What is recomended for best care? I want to put them in a 58 gallon with a 250 mh 20k radium, and either vho or t5 supp. This tank will also house a bunch of acans & micros. WIth this kind of light should I put them high or low??

Thanks Patrick

I think they will be fine in your setup. Just make sure to give them some room, cause they pack a nasty sting.

Yeah. An orange crush is an echinada. They are quite dangerous. Leishman had one that wiped out a favia, monti, and chalice all in the same night. :(

Like I said--I'm still learning something new about these guys every day...

Now that my tank is getting crowded, I have to keep a close eye on everyone to see that they all play well with others.

good I was hoping they would work. Would ya'll recommend up high or down lo?

Your right the enchinata is one of the nastiest guys on the block! I do have a torch that has kicked my purple enchinata and my hyndophora's but! It just burns the flesh right down to the skeleton wherever it touchs. Guess that why they call it a torch! LOL Yeh I know that was bad!! Too early for good jokes

Something I forgot to ask. Do they prefer to encrust over rock or do they plate out like a monti cap? Something I need to think about is placement, so this will matter.

Thanks
